Black Canyon Land Trust Accreditation |
Land Trust Accreditation Program. The Accreditation Program is a voluntary program for all 501(c)(3) organizations that actively acquire or steward conservation land or conservation easements. The accreditation program will ensure accountability and public credibility in voluntary land conservation by providing independent verification that accredited land trusts meet high standards. The accreditation process will use 42 of the Land Trust Standards and Practices as indicators of a whether a land trust operates in a sound ethical, legal and technical manner. As a member land trust of Land Trust Alliance (LTA) Black Canyon Land Trust has adopted Land Trust Standards and Practices. More information on the Land Trust Accreditation Program can be found in the LTA brochure: An Introduction to the New Voluntary Land Trust Accreditation Program and at the Land Trust Accreditation Commission web page.
501(c)(3) and Charitable Solicitation Status.
